Leit-off

Dave Leitao "resigned" at Virginia today. Virginia AD Craig Littlepage is an Uncle Tom (can Dave Leitao, as a half black, half white guy still call Craig Littlepage an Uncle Tom? I'm thinking yes...).

Calhoun apprentices seem to suffer from what I'm calling The Belicheck Corollary. Karl Hobbs, Tom Moore, and Leitao have pretty much gone the way of Charlie Weiss, Eric Mangina and Romeo Crenell. Too bad.

Leitao has a career record of 63-60, despite going 10-18 in 2008-09 and having a 4-24 year at Northeastern in 1995-96. 10-18 is indefensible, but he should have gotten another year.

  1. Hobbs got George Washington to the Tournament a couple of times.

Andre LaFleur is interested in the Boston University coaching vacancy.

  2. Parmalee - How did you get turned on to this site? mutual friend? - because your site seems legit, and i cant imagine you just stumbled upon our nonsense... Anyway, your response kind of confirms my point - Charlie had a tremendous year at Notre Dame and has faded, much like Hobbs at GW (and Karl is probably my all-time favorite assistant, sans the unintentional comedy that was Clyde/Clive Vaughn and his prostitution record). Anyway, thanks for coming back - the site is kind of dying, but were gonna try to run it strong through the Championship game.

  3. Parmalee - also, i love that you took offense to "the belicheck corollary" and not the Uncle Tom comments. ha - fantastic!
-LaFleur isn't getting that BU job, it's mini-Pitino's if he wants it.
